Supporting Community Regeneration in North Huyton

North Huyton New Deal for Communities have implemented a new housing transition database, developed and hosted by Amatica.

The system assists the team in recording key information and and tracking the progress of a substantial relocation and rehousing programme for more than 500 homes the area.

The multi-agency team is responsible for ensuring that vulnerable members of society in affected households do not suffer as a consequence of any interruption of social support or entitled benefits.

The system designed by Amatica is easily updateable, reliable and secure, enabling the project team to administer and co-ordinate the maintenance of support throughout the housing renewal programme. Resulting benefits include:

  • full case tracking of residents at address and individual levels;
  • full visibility of social care and support needs of individuals;
  • identification of the causes of log-jams in the housing transition process;
  • aids financial management and reporting;
  • ability to track progress of each phase of the project;
  • transparency and accountability are provided through the system’s audit facilities.
  • Last but not least, the system contributes to reducing the stresses and anxieties of North Huyton residents during the programme of housing

Speaking on behalf of North Huyton NDC, Jackie Patterson was delighted with the new online service saying,

“Amatica...took the time to understand our needs and requirements and communicated their proposals to us in language that was easy to understand”. “It was great working with consummate professionals who understand the diversity of the project, can translate it into laypersons terms, and ultimately deliver on time and to target.

“I will sing your organisation’s praise at every opportune moment.”
